The scenery along the way as we paddled out to sea in a canoe was beautiful, and the Pumpkin Cave—our destination—was so vast and mysterious it left me speechless. The view of the ocean from inside the cave was also breathtaking! Since the experience included lunch and access to the large public bath, I didn’t have to worry about changing clothes or finding a place to eat afterward, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself. I was also thrilled to receive so many photos!

The sea turtle snorkeling tour was so exciting—I got to see the sea turtles up close! The Pumpkin Cave was also incredibly impressive, and including the sea kayaking portion, I was able to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Miyako Island. I was also really grateful to have enjoyed a delicious, indulgent lunch and to have been able to refresh myself with a soak in the large communal bath. It was a truly fulfilling day!

From a leisurely paddle on a SUP, to the breathtaking sea turtle snorkeling, and the adventure-filled exploration of the Pumpkin Limestone Cave—I was excited all day long! Lunch at Ocean Links and a soak in the large communal bath in between provided the perfect respite, allowing me to enjoy every moment without feeling the slightest bit tired. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone visiting Miyako Island for the first time.

The places for lunch and the hot springs were close to the Pumpkin Limestone Cave, so we were able to get there right away. I was a little worried about driving there, but I ended up feeling relieved. The Pumpkin Limestone Cave was incredibly mystical—it was my first time visiting—and I was very satisfied. Both the lunch spot and the hot springs offer views of the ocean, so I think they’re bit of a hidden gem. I highly recommend them.

Since it’s a hassle to book everything separately, I think this is a great option for anyone who wants to leave it all to the tour company! You do have to get around on your own, but everything is relatively close by, so it’s no problem if you’ve rented a car.

We joined the tour on our honeymoon. The Blue Cave was as blue and impressive as its name. The Pumpkin Cave was also too pumpkin as the name suggests. It was an experience that will definitely make us want to travel back, not only for the power of nature, but also for the kindness of the guides.
