Total number of participants exceeds 300,000! Report on Revision of Our Safety Standards

2025-01-10 04:10

We have served a cumulative total of approximately 300,000 guests through our commitment to strict safety standards and procedures, with the safety of our guests as our number one priority.

In order to further improve safety considerations, we will work to strengthen the following systems with the cooperation of experts.

    • Review of tour guidelines
We will thoroughly review our customer lectures, weather explanations, and methods of communicating the hazards of the fields we use, in order to create a safer environment for participants.

    • Staff training and awareness
We will continue to provide our staff with emergency response training and educational programs to raise safety awareness, which we have been doing for some time, and actively disclose the content of these programs on our website.

    • Cooperation with Fire Department
In addition to the existing safety training and seminars, we will regularly collaborate with the fire department to update our response measures by obtaining new information on a regular basis, such as first aid kit contents and emergency communication methods, in addition to taking first aid courses at the fire station.

    • Reinforcement of emergency response system
In order to strengthen the safety system on the field, in addition to the staff who guide guests, we will assign staff mainly for monitoring and emergency response. In addition to reducing the number of accidents, we aim to provide quicker and more effective first aid.

    • Reinforcement of communication channels
In addition to the cellular phones currently placed in each field for emergency communication, we will install satellite phones in Iriomote Island and other fields where radio waves do not reach. In addition, each guide will be equipped with an emergency whistle in order to strengthen cooperation among guides, aiming for a quicker response.

  • Appropriate disclosure of information to customers
We strive to provide our clients with detailed information about the activities and risks involved so that they can have a safer tour experience.

We will continue to strive to improve our services so that our customers can participate in our tours with peace of mind!
