What is Kushima Island?
Kurima Island is,One of the outlying islands of the Miyako archipelago, it is located approximately 1.5 km southwest of Miyako Island in the sea!

沖縄にはたくさんの伝承や伝説が残されていますが、来間島にもそういった伝承が残っていますOh my god!!!
今でも伝わっている伝承の一つに、「島建て伝説」というものがあります！
概要を簡単にお伝えしますと、以下のようになります。
宮古島で争いが絶えなかった頃、川満村という場所で３兄弟が生まれます。 この３兄弟は来間島渡ったのですが、人影が少なく、奇妙な様子でした。 そんな中で出会った老婆は、赤牛が夜な夜な島の人間をさらっていき、次は自分がさらわれる番だということを３兄弟に告げます。 なんと、この老婆は来間島最後の一人だったのです。 これを聞いた３兄弟は、赤牛に連れ去った島の人たちを返すようにお願いをしました。 これに対して、赤牛はなぜ島の人たちをさらったのかを教えてくれました。 島の人たちが豊年祭を怠るようになったからだといいます。 これを聞いて、３兄弟は来間島での豊年祭「ヤーマスプナカ」を復活させ、毎年盛大に催すことを誓ったのでした。 この後、３兄弟は老婆の娘と結婚して子宝に恵まれ、来間島が発展していったといいます。 ※詳しい内容は、「宮古島市ホームページ」の伝説の広場をご覧ください。 この伝承をもとにして行われる."ヤーマスプナカ"という儀式は、島一大イベントとなっています！ この他にも、来間島の伝承や歴史に基づいた神事が島民たちによって今も受け継がれています。 いつの時代から受け継がれているのか分からないような伝承を大切につないで、神事を行うのは宮古諸島に共通する文化でもあります！ ここからは、来間島のRecommended Sightseeing Spotsto introduce you to the following! 来間島で観光をする予定の方は、ぜひご確認ください！ A boardwalk where subtropical plants grow in clusters makes you feel like an explorer.octopus parkIt is!
